Deanie’s earns three No. 1 best seafood rankings
Deanie’s Seafood Restaurants have earned THREE No. 1 best seafood rankings in this year’s Tops of the Town 2017 readers’ survey awards from New Orleans Magazine. Deanie’s was crowned the Top Place for Seafood, Top Place for Raw Oysters and Top Place for Boiled Crawfish in New Orleans in this year’s survey.
In a city that is ranked in the top 100 for “Best Food Destinations of 2017,” locally owned Deanie’s Seafood strives to provide an unforgettable dining experience for our patrons.
In 2017, the Chifici family celebrated their 35th anniversary as owners/operators of Deanie’s Seafood Restaurant in Bucktown, with Deanie’s Seafood in the French Quarter now in its 16th year of operations. Over the past several decades, we have been committed to delivering a truly authentic dining experience for our guests, serving fresh Wild Louisiana seafood in our signature Creole seasonings.

We’re proud that New Orleans Magazine readers chose Deanie’s the #1 Top Place for Seafood, #1 Top Place for Raw Oysters, and the #1 Top Place for Boiled Crawfish. In 2017, Where Y’at magazine readers named Deanie’s Seafood one of their top picks for “Best Seafood Restaurant in New Orleans” and “Best Restaurant for Boiled Seafood” in the publication’s Best of the Big Easy 2017 readers’ survey.
Likewise, we also were selected in the top 3 for “Best Seafood Restaurant” in New Orleans, and “Best Place to get Boiled Seafood” by Gambit’s Best of New Orleans Readers Choice Awards, which has recognized Deanie’s consecutively for the past 17 years in nine categories, including “Best Place for Boiled Seafood,” “Best Oyster Po-Boy” and “Best BBQ Shrimp.”
As we look back on the accolades from the past year, we are honored to continue serving our treasured family recipes, and value our customers who not only vote for us in readers’ polls, but also share their photos and experiences on social media.
