New Orleans Bands, crawfish eating contest at crawfest 

Do you have what it takes to become the next Pinch A Palooza Crawfish Eating Champion? Join in the 10-year-old tradition of celebrating Louisiana crawfish season with New Orleans’ favorite boiled crawfish, music, a competitive crawfish eating contest and more during Deanie’s Seafood’s Pinch A Palooza Festival & Crawfish Eating Contest.

Pinch A Palooza takes place from noon to 7 p.m., Sat., April 20 at the original Deanie’s Seafood Restaurant & Seafood Market, located at 1713 Lake Ave. at Old Hammond Highway, Metairie.  A $1 donation to The Good Shepherd School gets you in the gate for the all-day festival.

New Orleans’ Favorite Crawfish Festival Returns for 10th year

Pinch A Palooza Festival 2019 - April 20 in Bucktown

New Orleans’ favorite family seafood restaurant will be firing up the boil pots for its 10th-annual neighborhood crawfish festival, Pinch A Palooza Festival & Crawfish Eating Contest, noon to 7 p.m., Sun., April 20 in Bucktown. Deanie’s Seafood Restaurant in Bucktown—the original location of the well-known seafood restaurant with three locations in and around New Orleans—will continue the tradition of celebrating the Bucktown community and delicious local crawfish with a day of live music and entertainment, a Crawfish Eating Contest, and plenty of crawfish specialties and libations. Actor and comedian Johnny Rock will emcee Pinch A Palooza.

With a new school year just around the corner, Deanie’s Seafood is excited to welcome back to school in New Orleans. With three locations—our original location in Bucktown (Metairie), Deanie’s in the French Quarter, and our newest restaurant, Deanie’s Sea Food Kitchen located on Magazine Street Uptown—our casual family restaurant is a local favorite. Each year we are a go-to restaurant for school sports teams, local college Parents Weekend visitors, homecoming and prom weekend celebrants, and teachers and students enjoying time with their families. We look forward to forging delicious memories for the new school year!

Dine Out at Deanie's Bucktown Returns to Support Local Schools

Deanie's in Bucktown Donates Portion of Sales to Support Schools

Just as the kids return "Back to School," Deanie’s Seafood in Bucktown has released dates for the new season of its community-giving program, Dine Out at Deanie’s, to support local schools in the Metairie community. Under the Dine Out at Deanie’s initiative, Deanie’s is donating a portion of the purchase price of orders at Deanie’s Seafood Restaurant and Deanie’s Seafood Market made on Dine Out day by supporters of the school for the week.

Dine Out at Deanie's is valid for purchases at Deanie's Bucktown location, 1713 Lake Ave., Metairie,  including dine in and takeout orders at the restaurant and purchases at Deanie's Seafood Market. School boosters need to mention the school name when ordering for Deanie's to contribute toward the school's programs. Beginning Mon., Sept. 18, Dine Outs have been scheduled every Monday for the following schools: Archbishop Chapelle High School, St. Mary Magdalen School , Archbishop Rummel High School, St. Catherine of Siena School, Brother Martin High School , Mt. Carmel Academy, Good Shepherd School, and St. Mary's Dominican High School, respectively.

METAIRIE, LA.—Deanie’s Seafood in Bucktown has launched a new community-giving program, Dine Out at Deanie’s, to support local schools in the Metairie community. Under the Dine Out at Deanie’s initiative, Deanie’s is donating a portion of the purchase price of orders at Deanie’s Seafood Restaurant and Deanie’s Seafood Market made on Dine Out day by supporters of the school for the week.
