Crawfish Eating Contests for Kids and Adults; Cowboy Mouth Headlines 

METAIRIE, LA. —(March 28, 2017)—Just in time for crawfish season, Deanie’s Seafood Restaurant presents the 9th-annual Pinch A Palooza Festival & Crawfish Eating Contest on on Sun., April 22 at Deanie’s Seafood Restaurant & Seafood Market in Bucktown. Pinch A Palooza 2018 will feature live performances by The Topcats, Bucktown All-Stars, Vince Vance & The Valiants, Cowboy Mouth, and more—plus the 9th-annual Pinch A Palooza Crawfish Eating Contest.

The free outdoor seafood festival takes place from noon to 8 p.m., Sun., April 22 at Deanie’s Seafood’s original restaurant and seafood market in Bucktown, 1713 Lake Ave., Metairie. Admission is free.

Enjoy New Orleans' liveliest Breakfast with Santa in THE French Quarter

NEW ORLEANS —(November 29, 2017)—Beginning next weekend, Deanie's in the French Quarter will deliver New Orleans' liveliest breakfast with Santa and holiday music show for kids, Deanie's Seafood's Holiday Kids Sing Along & Dance Party with Vince Vance. Deanie's Holiday Kids Party features a buffet breakfast, photos with Santa, face painting, arts & crafts, and a fun holiday sing-along and performance with Vince Vance & The Valianettes.

Offering four shows in December, the party takes place at Deanie’s Seafood Restaurant in the French Quarter, 841 Iberville St., from 9  to 11:30 a.m.,  Dec. 9-10 & Dec. 16-17.

Deanie's in Bucktown Donates Portion of Sales to Support Schools

Just as the kids return "Back to School," Deanie’s Seafood in Bucktown has released dates for the new season of its community-giving program, Dine Out at Deanie’s, to support local schools in the Metairie community. Under the Dine Out at Deanie’s initiative, Deanie’s is donating a portion of the purchase price of orders at Deanie’s Seafood Restaurant and Deanie’s Seafood Market made on Dine Out day by supporters of the school for the week.

Dine Out at Deanie's is valid for purchases at Deanie's Bucktown location, 1713 Lake Ave., Metairie,  including dine in and takeout orders at the restaurant and purchases at Deanie's Seafood Market. School boosters need to mention the school name when ordering for Deanie's to contribute toward the school's programs. Beginning Mon., Sept. 18, Dine Outs have been scheduled every Monday for the following schools: Archbishop Chapelle High School, St. Mary Magdalen School , Archbishop Rummel High School, St. Catherine of Siena School, Brother Martin High School , Mt. Carmel Academy, Good Shepherd School, and St. Mary's Dominican High School, respectively.

The eighth-annual Pinch A Palooza Festival & Crawfish-Eating Contest returns to the shores of Lake Pontchartrain for a day of family friendly fun!  This festival celebrating Louisiana’s unique delicacy takes place all day Sunday, April 23—from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Deanie's Seafood Restaurant in Bucktown.  

With over 5,000 pounds of boiled Louisiana crawfish, live music, and a variety of activities for fun-lovers of all ages, it’s the can’t-miss family event of the festival season.  And best of all… it’s FREE!

The Deanie's Holiday Kids Sing-Along & Dance Party sits at the intersection of the dreams of two close friends: bandleader Vince Vance and Deanie’s owner Barbara A. Chifici, old-school New Orleanians seeking to rekindle the spirit of holidays gone by.

The special holiday kids event is held over four dates in December at the restaurant, 841 Iberville St.

Vince Vance, backed by the all-female Valianettes, will perform holiday songs — including his chart-topping classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You” — while also premiering songs from a new EP by Vince & The Valiants, “Christmas State of Mind."
