Deanie’s Presents Bucktown Seafood Festival 2016

Deanie’s is presenting sponsor of 19th-annual fair Oct. 21-23

For the second year, Deanie’s Seafood is joining St. Louis King of France School in presenting the schools’ annual signature fundraiser, Bucktown Seafood Festival, which takes place the weekend of Oct. 21-23.

Deanie’s Seafood is title sponsor of this year’s Bucktown Seafood Festival and will provide all the amazing seafood dishes the Bucktown institution is known for in the Metro New Orleans area and around the world, including Charbroiled Oysters, Seafood Gumbo, Fried Catfish, Fried Shrimp, Crawfish Etouffee, Fried Artichokes, Crawfish Nachos and Caesar Salad with Fried Shrimp or Oysters.

One of New Orleans’ festivals each fall, the 19th-annual Bucktown Seafood Festival is scheduled for Fri., Oct. 21 to Sun., Oct. 23 at St. Louis King of France Catholic School, 1600 Lake Ave., Metairie, and features rides, entertainment and great food. The festival is the school’s largest fundraiser, and all monies raised during this event are used entirely to benefit stuBucktown_Seafood_Festival_2016_BSF2016_presented_by_Deanies_Seafood.jpegdents.

Performing during the festival are Contraflow (7pm, Friday), Category 6 (7pm, Saturday)  and Harvey Jesus & Fire (5 pm, Sunday).

St. Louis King of France is a co-educational Blue Ribbon School of Excellence serving students from 6-week old infants (“Little Crusaders”) through the 7th grade. Support for the event helps SLKF offer students superior educational opportunities while maintaining small class sizes.
