Deanie’s Seafood Restaurant each year delivers an outdoor festival providing free family fun with a focus on Louisiana’s favorite pasttime, the neighborhood crawfish boil. Deanie’s Pinch A Palooza Festival & Crawfish Eating Contest takes place from noon to 8 p.m., Sun., April 22 at Deanie’s Seafood Restaurant & Seafood Market in Bucktown, 1713 Lake Ave. in Metairie. With family-friendly entertainment from bands like Vince Vance & The Valiants and Cowboy Mouth, a fun dance performance by the 610 Stompers, and tons of boiled crawfish and Deanie’s crawfish specialties, Pinch A Palooza is a great family outing on the shores of Lake Pontchartrain.

The lineup features rock covers by local favorites The Top Cats; rock, soul & funk with Bucktown All-Stars; classic rock by Roux the Day, New Orleans originals from Louisiana Hall of Fame Inductee Vince Vance & The Valiants; Cowboy Mouth and more! Pinch A Palooza 2018 will be emceed by New Orleans artist, comedian and host Johnny Rock and feature a performance by the all-male dance krewe the 610 Stompers, who appear on the Pinch A Palooza stage for the 7th consecutive year.

Deanie’s Holiday Kids Party features a buffet breakfast, photos with Santa, face painting, arts & crafts, and a fun holiday sing-along and performance with Vince Vance & The Valianettes.

Offering four shows in December, the party takes place at Deanie’s Seafood Restaurant in the French Quarter, 841 Iberville St., from 9 to 11:30 a.m., Dec. 9-10 & Dec. 16-17.
