For the past nine years, Deanie’s has presented the Pinch A Palooza Festival & Crawfish Eating Contest, a free family-friendly crawfish and music festival at Deanie’s original location in Bucktown. Each year Pinch A Palooza draws several thousand seafood lovers in the Greater New Orleans area and donates to great causes.
The 9th-annual Pinch A Palooza Festival takes place from noon to 8 p.m., Sun., April 22 and includes performances by great local bands such as the Bucktown All-Stars, Top Cats, Roux the Day, Vince Vance & the Valiants and Cowboy Mouth. We’ll also be entertained by the 610 Stompers and the 9th-annual Pinch A Palooza Crawfish Eating Contest, as well as our second Pinch A Palooza Junior Crawfish Eating Contest.
We’re grateful to have recurring sponsors, including Lakeside Toyota and Metairie Bank, as well as our Pinch A Palooza beverage and media sponsors.
If you’d like to join us in delivering this beloved festival, your company can enjoy the benefits of contributing to Deanie’s Seafood’s Bucktown Philanthropic Trust, which has donated more than $20,000 through Deanie’s Pinch A Palooza Festival initiatives since the event’s founding in 2010. Your tax-deductible Pinch A Palooza sponsorship will support our 2018 beneficiary, The Good Shepherd School.
Your organization also benefits from its association with a beloved local brand recognized as one of the “Best Seafood Restaurants in New Orleans.” Deanie’s serves over 1 million patrons each year and has a huge following of more than 40,000 social media followers and more than 550,000 hits annually to our website, Deanies.com.
Most of all, you’ll be contributing to a great event for the Bucktown community, a celebration of New Orleans’ best attributes of great seafood, live local music, good times and good friends.
