Celebrating Louisiana Crawfish Month during the peak of New Orleans music festival season, Deanie's Seafood will host its 9th-annual Pinch A Palooza Festival, a free crawfish festival celebrating Louisiana music and crawfish, the perfect tune-up for those going to Jazz Fest.

For the past nine years, Deanie’s has presented the Pinch A Palooza Festival & Crawfish Eating Contest, a free family-friendly crawfish and music festival at Deanie’s original location in Bucktown. Each year Pinch A Palooza draws several thousand seafood lovers in the Greater New Orleans area and donates to great causes.
The 9th-annual Pinch A Palooza Festival takes place from noon to 8 p.m., Sun., April 22 and includes performances by great local bands such as the Bucktown All-Stars, Top Cats, Roux the Day, Vince Vance & the Valiants and Cowboy Mouth. We’ll also be entertained by the 610 Stompers and the 9th-annual Pinch A Palooza Crawfish Eating Contest, as well as our second Pinch A Palooza Junior Crawfish Eating Contest.

Deanie's presents a full day of free live music, activities and fun during its annual crawfish extravaganza, Pinch A Palooza Festival & Crawfish Eating Contest 2018 from noon to 8 p.m., Sun., April 22 at Deanie's in Bucktown. The lineup features rock covers by local favorites The Top Cats; rock, soul & funk with Bucktown All-Stars; classic rock by Roux the Day, New Orleans originals from Louisiana Hall of Fame Inductee Vince Vance & The Valiants; Cowboy Mouth and more! Pinch A Palooza 2018 will be emceed by New Orleans artist, comedian and host Johnny Rock and feature a performance by the all-male dance krewe the 610 Stompers, who appear on the Pinch A Palooza stage for the 7th consecutive year.

Free Crawfish Festival features live music all day
Deanie's Seafood will host its eighth-annual Pinch A Palooza Festival, a free crawfish festival celebrating Louisiana music and crawfish, on Sunday April 23 at Deanie’s Seafood Restaurant & Seafood Market in Bucktown! Celebrating Louisiana Crawfish Month during the peak of New Orleans music festival season, Pinch A Palooza will feature more than 5,000 lbs. of boiled crawfish, a crawfish-eating contest for adults as well as one for children ages 6-12, crafts and games for the kids, and live music all day long.
New Orleans all-male charitable dance troupe The 610 Stompers will also be warming up the crowd with their spectacular dance moves. With seven bands beginning at 11am, and popular local funk band Flow Tribe closing out the night, this crawfish festival features music and entertainment for all ages!

7th-annual festival celebrates Louisiana crawfish season
A family friendly seafood festival celebrating Louisiana’s unique delicacy comes once again to the shores of Lake Pontchartrain just in time for Louisiana Crawfish Awareness Month. The seventh-annual Pinch A Palooza Festival, presented by Deanie’s Seafood Restaurants, takes place 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Sun., April 17 at Deanie's Seafood Restaurant in Bucktown, 1713 Lake Ave., Metairie. Admission is free. Information is available at Pinchapalooza.com.
This year’s Pinch A Palooza features seven bands, the seventh-annual Pinch A Palooza Crawfish Eating Contest, crawfish races and games for the kids, an art market and Deanie’s crawfish specialties, including crawfish nachos, crawfish balls, fried crawfish tails, and thousands of pounds of fresh boiled Louisiana Crawfish served with corn and potatoes.
