METAIRIE—September 30, 2014—Deanie’s Seafood Restaurants & Seafood Market will celebrate National Seafood Month with its flavorful third-annual Bucktober fall concert series.

Enjoy the cool evenings of October with great local music and fresh Louisiana seafood at Deanie’s Seafood Restaurant in Bucktown, 1713 Lake Ave. in Metairie, during Bucktober Fridays, 6:30-9:30 p.m. every Friday in October. Featuring Deanie’s full menu plus Charbroiled Oysters grilled to order, Bucktober Fridays is Deanie’s free outdoor concert series celebrating local sounds and seafood at a New Orleans original and one of “New Orleans’ Best Seafood Restaurants” (Gambit Weekly Best of Awards 2014). FOX 8 anchor Greg Adaline tries raw oysters for the first time at Deanie's

NEW ORLEANS—September 3, 2014—New Orleans' WVUE Fox 8 recently brought their new anchor Greg Adaline to Deanie's Seafood in Bucktown to experience Louisiana seafood and raw oysters for the first time. A recent Michigan transplant, Greg is new to the food and culture of New Orleans.

The Fox 8 team took Greg around the city to give him a taste of the quintessential New Orleans experiences. Greg and co-anchor Shelley Brown visited the original Deanie's Seafood's original location in Bucktown, where they sampled our fried Crab Claws, Seafood Gumbo, our famous fried Seafood Platter, Coconut Custard Bread Pudding and, for Greg's first time, Raw Oysters. Co-anchor, Shelley Brown explains to Greg that in New Orleans, "We live to eat." Greg's Deanie's favorites were the Crawfish Dressing Balls on our Seafood Platter and Deanie's Seafood Gumbo.

NEW ORLEANS—April 3, 2014—Deanie's Seafood Restaurants and Seafood Market announces it is the first restaurant and seafood market in the Greater New Orleans region to have earned Louisiana Wild Seafood Certification, guaranteeing our customers and patrons that the seafood they enjoy is natural, sustainable and sourced from Louisiana waters.

The voluntary Louisiana Seafood Certification Program guarantees that seafood bearing the “Certified Authentic Louisiana Wild Seafood” label is caught in the Gulf of Mexico or Gulf Coast state waters by Louisiana licensed fishermen and is landed, processed, and packaged in Louisiana.

Point After Show returns Oct. 27 when Saints face Bills

NEW ORLEANS--Oct. 18, 2013--The New Orleans Saints, 5-1, will face the Buffalo Bills on Sun., Oct. 27, and Deanie's Seafood Restaurant will have all the post-game analysis after the Dome goes dark. The Saints will be coming off a bye week after their first loss of the season against the New England Patriots.  

 

Come out and join the Who Dat Nation at Deanie’s Seafood in the French Quarter or Bucktown to catch the action and take advantage of Game Day drink specials. Once the game is over, join us for “The Point After” Show with Bobby Hebert live from Deanie’s Seafood in the French Quarter.  Both Deanie’s locations have large screen TVs tuned to the game, so Saints fans can enjoy their favorite seafood without missing a play.

METAIRIE, LA.--Oct. 9--It's time for the food and music extravaganza known as Bucktober Wednesdays at Deanie's Seafood restaurant in Bucktown, 1713 Lake Ave., from 6-8 p.m., with a free performance by New Orleans' favority party band, Vince Vance & The Valiants. Tonight's program also will feature a presentation to the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation, beneficiaries of the Bucktober Wednesdays series.

The Bucktober Wednesdays outdoor concert series features an all local lineup every Wednesday in October. Next week's performance is by Mia Borders, heralded locally and nationally as one of New Orleans' best musical talents blending funk, rock and soul.
