The eighth-annual Pinch A Palooza Festival & Crawfish-Eating Contest returns to the shores of Lake Pontchartrain for a day of family friendly fun!  This festival celebrating Louisiana’s unique delicacy takes place all day Sunday, April 23—from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Deanie's Seafood Restaurant in Bucktown.  

With over 5,000 pounds of boiled Louisiana crawfish, live music, and a variety of activities for fun-lovers of all ages, it’s the can’t-miss family event of the festival season.  And best of all… it’s FREE!

Deanie's festive holiday display & holiday kids party brings Christmas cheer to the French Quarter

Deanie’s Seafood sits at the intersection of Dauphine and Iberville streets in the French Quarter. The Vince Vance Kids Holiday Sing-Along & Dance Partysits at the intersection of the dreams of two close friends: bandleader Vince Vance and Deanie’s owner Barbara A. Chifici, old-school New Orleanians seeking to rekindle the spirit of holidays gone by.

This year, they will gather for a fourth time for the special event, held over four dates, Dec. 10-11 and Dec. 17-18 at the restaurant, 841 Iberville St.

Vince Vance, backed by the all-female Valianettes, will perform holiday songs — including his chart-topping classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You” — while also premiering songs from a new EP by Vince & The Valiants, “Christmas State of Mind."
