Crawfish season is in full swing, and Pinch A Palooza on April 22 (noon to 8pm) will celebrate all things crawfish! Our dishes are carefully crafted from scratch using the freshest ingredients and authentic family recipes. You can try a variety of dishes at Pinch A Palooza Festival from crawfish nachos, crawfish balls, fried crawfish tails and crawfish étouffée to crawfish bisque and crawfish bread. And did we mention that we’ll have over 5,000 pounds of delicious boiled crawfish plus traditional sides like corn and potatoes? A selection of non-seafood items will also be available for purchase, and you can wash it all down with ice cold beer on tap or other specialty frozen drinks. You can also test your competitive eating skills during our Crawfish Eating Contests for kids and adults.

Celebrating Louisiana Crawfish Month during the peak of New Orleans music festival season, Deanie's Seafood will host its 9th-annual Pinch A Palooza Festival, a free crawfish festival celebrating Louisiana music and crawfish, the perfect tune-up for those going to Jazz Fest.

METAIRIE, LA. —(April 6, 2018)—Deanie’s Seafood has released the event schedule for its free all-day outdoor crawfish festival, Pinch A Palooza, which takes place from noon to 8 p.m., Sun., April 22 at Deanie’s Seafood Market & Seafood Restaurant in Bucktown, 1713 Lake Ave. The event features five bands, including headliners Cowboy Mouth, kids' and adults’ crawfish eating contests, and a variety of activities and crawfish specialities.
The 9th-annual Pinch A Palooza Festival & Crawfish Eating Contest kicks off with a noon performance by local four-piece classic rock band Roux the Day. At 1 p.m., kids 6 to 12 years old get to test their mettle at competitive eating during the second-annual Pinch A Palooza Junior Crawfish Eating Contest.

The 9th-annual Pinch A Palooza Festival takes place from noon to 8 p.m., Sun., April 22 and includes performances by great local bands such as the Bucktown All-Stars, Top Cats, Roux the Day, Vince Vance & the Valiants and Cowboy Mouth. We’ll also be entertained by the 610 Stompers and the 9th-annual Pinch A Palooza Crawfish Eating Contest, as well as our second Pinch A Palooza Junior Crawfish Eating Contest.

The lineup features rock covers by local favorites The Top Cats; rock, soul & funk with Bucktown All-Stars; classic rock by Roux the Day, New Orleans originals from Louisiana Hall of Fame Inductee Vince Vance & The Valiants; Cowboy Mouth and more! Pinch A Palooza 2018 will be emceed by New Orleans artist, comedian and host Johnny Rock and feature a performance by the all-male dance krewe the 610 Stompers, who appear on the Pinch A Palooza stage for the 7th consecutive year.

Deanie's Seafood will host its eighth-annual Pinch A Palooza Festival, a free crawfish festival celebrating Louisiana music and crawfish, on Sunday April 23 at Deanie’s Seafood Restaurant & Seafood Market in Bucktown! Celebrating Louisiana Crawfish Month during the peak of New Orleans music festival season, Pinch A Palooza will feature more than 5,000 lbs. of boiled crawfish, a crawfish-eating contest for adults as well as one for children ages 6-12, crafts and games for the kids, and live music all day long.
New Orleans all-male charitable dance troupe The 610 Stompers will also be warming up the crowd with their spectacular dance moves. With seven bands beginning at 11am, and popular local funk band Flow Tribe closing out the night, this crawfish festival features music and entertainment for all ages!
