Deanie’s earns Louisiana Wild Seafood seal

NEW ORLEANS—April 3, 2014—Deanie's Seafood Restaurants and Seafood Market announces it is the first restaurant and seafood market in the Greater New Orleans region to have earned Louisiana Wild Seafood Certification, guaranteeing our customers and patrons that the seafood they enjoy is natural, sustainable and sourced from Louisiana waters.

The voluntary Louisiana Seafood Certification Program guarantees that seafood bearing the “Certified Authentic Louisiana Wild Seafood” label is caught in the Gulf of Mexico or Gulf Coast state waters by Louisiana licensed fishermen and is landed, processed, and packaged in Louisiana.

Pinch A Palooza Celebrates Wild Crawfish

METAIRIE, LA.—March 30, 2014—Celebrating Louisiana’s Crawfish Season, New Orleans’ “Favorite Place to get Boiled Crawfish” (Tops of the Town 2014, New Orleans Magazine), Deanie’s Seafood, announces its fifth-annual Pinch A Palooza Festival & Crawfish Eating Contest at its original location in Bucktown, 1713 Lake Ave., Metairie, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sun., April 6. Admission is free.

Pinch A Palooza features a stellar lineup of local musicians and entertainers, an art market, activities for children and a variety of Deanie’s favorite Crawfish specialties. Seven bands will perform, including: Vince Vance & The Valiants, The Bucktown All-Stars, The Revivalists, Shamarr Allen & The Underdawgs, Jonathon “Boogie” Long & the Blues Revolution, Jackson, Miss. bluegrass duo Bill & Temperance, and Breakwater Drive.

NEW ORLEANS—Jan. 27, 2014—Deanie’s Seafood Restaurants have been recognized in New Orleans Magazine's "Tops of the Town 2014" and are the recipient of the 2013 Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site.

New Orleans Magazine readers selected Deanie’s as New Orleans’ No. 1 “Best Place to Get Boiled Crawfish” and No. 3 “Favorite Seafood Restaurant,” both honors that have been awarded to Deanie’s in past years.

The TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence is awarded to “establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveler reviews on TripAdvisor worldwide.”
