Bucktown Seafood Festival 2016: Music, Food & Family Fun!

Deanie's Seafood Restaurant is proud to be presenting sponsor of the 19th-annual Bucktown Seafood Festival benefiting St. Louis King of France School, located at 1600 Lake Ave. in the historic fishing village of Bucktown, Louisiana. The three-day festival features rides from Crescent City Amusements, games, live entertainment, raffle prizes, and a variety of dishes from Deanie's Seafood. Bucktown Seafood Festival (BSF), held the third weekend of October,  is the perfect way to celebrate National Seafood Month.

Admission is free.

For the second year, Deanie's Seafood is joining St. Louis King of France School in presenting the schools' annual signature fundraiser, Bucktown Seafood Festival, which takes place the weekend of Oct. 21-23.

Deanie’s Seafood is title sponsor of this year’s Bucktown Seafood Festival and will provide all the amazing seafood dishes the Bucktown institution is known for in the Metro New Orleans area and around the world, including Charbroiled Oysters, Seafood Gumbo, Fried Catfish, Fried Shrimp, Crawfish Etouffee, Fried Artichokes, Crawfish Nachos and Caesar Salad with Fried Shrimp or Oysters.

Bucktober Fridays returns Oct. 2

Deanie’s Seafood welcomes our neighbors and friends to a live outdoor concert series at our original location in Bucktown. Deanie's will be serving up the best Louisiana Wild Seafood and great local bands will be featured to kick off the 4th annual event.

Presented by the Bucktown Philanthropic Trust, Bucktober Fridays runs on Fridays in the month of October and features great bands like Vince Vance & The Valiants, Brent Rozell & The Soulmates, and MJ & The Redeemers. Performance dates are October 2, 9, 16 and 30. With the rest of Bucktown, Deanie's will celebrate the season at the Bucktown Seafood Festival on October 23, and hope to see you there too!

Catch Louisiana showcased Greenberg’s best-selling book on sustainable U.S. seafood, “American Catch: The Fight for Our Local Seafood.”
