NEW ORLEANS—Dec. 20, 2011—Deanie’s Seafood restaurant, 841 Iberville St., celebrates 10 years of operations in the French Quarter with a special Post Saints’ Game Tailgate Party featuring a live performance by the 610 Stompers.
The 610 Stompers will perform live at Deanie’s Seafood during the “Point After” show with Bobby Hebert and Deke Bellavia following the Saints' Monday Night Football Game on Dec. 26.
With their signature 'staches, powder blue coaches’ shorts and blazing red members-only jackets, New Orleans' favorite all-male dance organization recently took New York by storm parading as part of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade lineup. They will be on hand Monday night to demonstrate their extraordinary moves and autograph copies of the 610 Stompers 2012 Calendar benefiting local charities. The group has raised more than $100,000 for programs benefiting the local community since forming in 2009.
Deanie’s Seafood, named “New Orleans’ Best Seafood Restaurant” by readers of Gambit Weekly, is the second location of Deanie’s Seafood, famous for its heaping portions of the best boiled, broiled and fried seafood. The French Quarter location opened in 2001 one block off of Canal Street at the corner of Iberville and Dauphine streets in the former D.H. Holmes department store.
With a relaxing atmosphere, a full menu of New Orleans favorites before, during and after the game and beverage promotions and beer specials, Deanie’s Seafood is where serious Saints fans go after the dome goes dark.
Coming off their sixth straight win, Monday night’s game against the Atlanta Falcons is all that stands between the Saints and the NFC South Division Championship Crown. Saints fans can hear detailed post-game commentary and participate as part of the audience during the live broadcast of the Point After, sponsored by Deanie’s Seafood and Zatarain’s. The program is broadcast locally on the flagship station of Saints Radio Network, WWL 870 AM and 105.3 FM, as well as 33 other Saints Radio Network affiliate stations throughout Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi.
