Deanie’s launches free family friendly open-air concert series
METAIRIE, LA.--Oct. 11, 2012--Deanie’s Seafood in Bucktown introduces its inaugural open-air fall concert series Deanie’s Bucktober Wednesdays beginning Oct. 17. Deanie’s Bucktober Wednesdays will feature live music, drink specials and, of course, great seafood from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the parking lot of Deanie’s Seafood in Bucktown, 1713 Lake Ave., Metairie. A free family friendly event, the series runs through Wed., Nov. 7. Each Wednesday, Deanie’s will showcase live performances by a diverse group of talented local bands: all original rock/skacore band, The Scorseses; The Revivalists Duo featuring David Shaw and Zack Feinberg; three-piece rock band Birdfinger; and the Go-go brass funk band Brass-A-Holics.

As part of Deanie’s Bucktober Wednesdays, on Halloween parents are encouraged to dress the kids in their costumes and decorate their trunks for “Trunk or Treat” as Deanie’s will be tricking and treating the kids in a fun and safe atmosphere. The best decorated trunk will win a Deanie’s gift certificate for $50.
